>Back to all Projects Lake Benton I The Lake Benton I (LBI) Project is an 107 MW wind power facility located on the Buffalo Ridge near Lake Benton, Minnesota. The facility achieved commercial operations in 1998 and sells electricity to Northern States Power (now Xcel Energy) under a long term power purchase agreement.
