Located in the town of Johnsburg, Warren County, on Gore and Pete Gay Mountain, the Project
is proposed at the site of a former mining operation.
Up to 10 turbines at the site could produce 30 MW of power and supply over half of
the 26,000 homes in Warren County, the equivalent of removing over 11,000 automobiles
from the road.
While under construction the project will create jobs for local communities. Once
underway, it would produce significant tax revenue and deliver green energy to local
businesses and homes, helping bring New York closer to its goal of 25% renewable energy
generation.
